North Wales-based dealership DSL Mobility’s recent success on the Motability Scheme is down to combining an expertise-driven sales method with customer service-focused aftercare, which leaves customers satisfied, the company has said.
Having only joined the Motability Scheme a few years ago DSL Mobility, which has showrooms in Wrexham and Bangor, was recently named as the scheme’s best small fleet dealer and the company is continuing to grow its fleet of mobility scooters and powerchairs.
DSL’s Motability specialist Dave said the company looks after its Motability customers in the same way as any other.
“We’ve combined this expertise-driven sales method with our renowned customer service focused aftercare, to develop an approach that leaves customers very satisfied, and we’re excited to see it pay off so well.
“The award has been given for having the highest ranking customer service score for dealers in our class, but we’re also very pleased to find that we are the highest scoring dealer across all classes in the UK.
“This award is for our entire team, starting from the first point of contact up to the delivery of the product and then for the next three years of taking care of breakdowns, servicing and any other queries that come along before hopefully the customer choosing to renew their lease.”
Speaking to AMP last year, DSL’s managing director Russell Allmand said that the company hopes to move further into Motability and that it is working to train more staff on the scheme.
DSL Mobility evolved from Denbighshire Stairlifts 11 years ago and moved to its current home — a 6,000 square foot store in Wrexham. The business now has a 2,500 square foot sister site in Bangor and has since doubled its turnover to more than £2m.
