Drive DeVilbiss has entered a new mobility scooter into the fiercely competitive and rapidly expanding folding scooter market.
The Knight was unveiled recently in a sleek teaser video (below), which hails a new type of marketing style which has rarely been seen in the mobility market to date.
Alan Sullivan, marketing manager, at Drive, said that the firm was determined to develop a new style of campaign that was different and would stand out from other product launches in our industry.
“The Knight Electrofold Scooter is also very different to other folding scooters available today,” he said.
“I believe the modern design of both the scooter and the supporting campaign can only send out a positive message.”
Sullivan added: “We have seen a huge growth in the demand for folding scooters in recent years and we believe this premium folding scooter will help continue to build on this.
“The Knight was developed to provide several new features that sets it apart from many other folding scooters on the market.
“I have high hopes that this teaser trailer will catch our customers’ attention, encouraging them to find out more about this innovative new product.”
Sullivan said that Drive is looking at new ways of how best to support its customers by providing effective marketing materials.
Its recently-launched InStore Independent Living Catalogue has been a success for the company thanks in large to its aim of driving more end-users into stores.
Sullivan concluded: “We’ve already received some excellent feedback and I’m delighted to hear that our retailers are now seeing customers come back into their stores, following looking through the catalogue at home.”
