Drive issues alert to online mobility dealers after fraudsters reported

20th Anniversary Of First Online Sale

Drive DeVilbiss has warned online dealers selling its products to be alert after it received reports of fraudsters placing mobility scooter orders online using stolen credit card details.

The orders are for delivery to addresses within the Stockport postcode area with the buyer requesting either a Next Day service or specifying a time for delivery within a couple of working days.

The details are scant so far but a spokesperson for Drive said alerting retailers to the reported fraudsters will help to reduce the risk for partners.

They added: “We must protect our industry against situations like this.”
