Drive expects TV ad to whip up sales for HurryCane dealers

Drive DeVilbiss has recommended that its dealers make sure they have its HurryCane walking aids in stock next week when it is set to launch a TV advertising campaign.

The manufacturer is anticipating a potential drive in sales for retail partners after the advert launches on Monday.

The HurryCane is a walking stick with a freestanding design so that it can aid users when moving from a sitting to a standing position.

Its pivoting base simulates walking motion, providing stability at any angle, enabling the cane to tackle tougher terrain.

Drive DeVilbiss’ marketing manager, Alan Sullivan, said that following the “excellent response” from the previous HurryCane TV advert, the supplier made the decision to bring it back.

He said: “The new TV adverts will hit screens from 15 April. We suggest our retailers get stocked up before the campaign goes live.

“We are looking at using TV advertising more in the future to help promote other products in our range and drive customers to their local stockist.”

The company hopes that the TV advertising will bolster its campaign to encourage end-users into bricks-and-mortar stores.
