Drive DeVilbiss is sponsoring the Independent Retailers category in AMP’s Power List publication, which will make its much anticipated return next month.
The Power List features in the April issue of the magazine and will showcase the current top 35 personalities at dealers and firms in the access and mobility trade.
Drive DeVilbiss specifically chose to back the Independent Retailers category as part of its ongoing initiative to level the playing field for its bricks-and-mortar partners.
Al Sullivan, marketing manager, said: “We are delighted to support this year’s popular Power List feature by sponsoring the Independent Retailers category, celebrating those entrepreneurial individuals that are helping to drive the mobility retail market forward.
“For us, the Independent Retailers represent the backbone of the industry and are vital for its future growth.”
Last year, Drive introduced its new catalogue designed specifically to drive more customers to purchase mobility products in-store, as opposed to over the internet. It has also introduced schemes such as next day delivery to further support independent retailers operating in the sector.
The company recently entered a new mobility scooter into the fiercely competitive and rapidly expanding folding scooter market.
The Knight was unveiled recently in a sleek teaser video, which hails a new type of marketing style which has rarely been seen in the mobility market to date.
Nominations for the Power List have now closed after businesses approached AMP in their droves to put forward the individuals they feel ought to be recognised for their achievements and work in the last year.
