It will offer an educational platform of seminars, workshops and networking opportunities as it brings together thought leaders from across the healthcare sector.

They will discuss all aspects of moving and handling, from assistance to stand, moving unconscious patients on ICU through to supporting complex community cases and bariatric patients in their home.

The event will explore future planning practices gained from the pandemic, and discuss the latest strategies to comply with health and safety.

There will also be the opportunity to participate online for delegates who are unable to attend in person and prefer a virtual experience.

Since 1969, the DLF has been providing impartial advice, information and training on equipment for independent living. The charity’s DLF for Professionals programme includes a range of training and tools to support assessment and safe use of assistive technology
