A national charity specialising in advice, information and training on equipment for independent living The Disabled Living Foundation (DLF) has announced its sponsors for upcoming mobility event.
Ahead of the Moving & Handling People show at the end of the month the national charity has announced Joerns Healthcare and Yorkshire Care Equipment’s sponsorship.
Moving & Handling People, a two-day event designed for and by healthcare practitioners to stay ahead of the curve on some of the hottest topics in this specialised area, is set to take place on September 27 and 28 at Newcastle Racecourse.
The event is offering CPD accredited training and a combination of keynote talks, plenaries, seminars and hands-on practical workshops.
Running in conjunction with the Disability North Exhibition, attendees will also have access to a wealth of exhibitors in attendance.
Janet Seward, partnerships manager at DLF, said: “Without the support of companies that provide equipment for moving and handling people, the event would not be possible. And as such we are thankful for Joerns Healthcare and Yorkshire Care Equipment’s support in bringing this renowned event to the northern regions of the UK.”
Moving & Handling People, the widely popular training and exhibition event for healthcare professionals, has run in the southern regions of the UK for more than 20 years.
