The Disabled Living Foundation (DLF) will host the inaugural webinar in a new series beginning next week.
The DLF for Professionals series will debut next Wednesday, 26 May at 10am and is a free ticketed event.
The first 75-minute webinar by the training provider will be titled ‘Reflections’ and will feature reflections on person-centred advice regarding assistive technology and the role that it can play in maximising independence.
The agenda is as follows:
10.00 -10.15: Introduction to DLF & latest data insights from providing the AskSARA service in the UK
10.15-10.30: Newport and the pan-Gwent project – policy, legislation and service delivery. Dawn Pridham, Newport County Council
10.30-10.45: Reaching older and disabled people in the community – promoting the use of AskSARA. Louise Lapworth, Warwickshire County Council
10.45-11.00: Newcastle City Council’s digital suite of prevention and information tools. Kate Bowman, Newcastle County Council
11.00-11.15: Q&A panel
DLF offers a programme of CPD-accredited courses delivered by trainers with the relevant skills, knowledge and experience in their chosen fields.
