Warrington Disability Partnership has announced its plan to reschedule Disability Awareness Day 2020, with a new autumn date.

All those who had booked for the original June event will be automatically issued tickets for the new date.

The outdoor event at Walton Gardens in Cheshire will be shortened by one hour to accommodate for the shorter daylight hours in September.

The statement from chief executive Dave Thompson said: “The health and safety of our visitors, exhibitors and our team is always our number one priority.

“This is particularly important given the communities that DAD involves. Many of our visitors are themselves some of the most vulnerable in society.”
