A mobility equipment dealer on the South Coast has launched an appeal to other retailers in the area to keep an eye out for a lime green scooter, which it says was stolen from outside its shop on Wednesday.
The TGA Vita, serial number S17ATEG1620013, has been custom painted and also features the dealer’s personal identification number 11797.
TGA Vita’s are generally easy to spot because of their modern designs and can retail for as much as £5,000 from new.
Baron Medical, which trades as Mobility Scooters UK, opened its new shop in Ferndown, Dorset, in May.
The sizable store boasts plenty of floor and window space for displaying large products and high-ticket items.
A number of high-end mobility scooters are often showcased outside of the shop to encourage passers-by into the store.
The store, which is branded as The Mobility Shop, currently offers entry level and high-end class 2 and 3 scooters, rollators, wheelchairs and a number of living aids.
