Made especially for those with diabetes, the Closomat Palma Vita wash and dry WC has maintained its place as the UK’s best-selling toilet of its kind.
The toilet was made with diabetes sufferers in mind, said Closomat, as loss of function in the limbs can make the task very difficult.
As well as being the UK’s top-selling wash and dry WC, it is also the only one manufactured in Britain and the only from a family-owned company.
Closomat also offers British-based, in-house support to customers.
The Palma Life package includes 10 years of supply, service and maintenance all covered by one initial payment.
The brand believes that patient feedback is the best indicator of their success, so has spoken with users of the Palma Vita.
Ulem Grant said: “It is fantastic, I am over the moon. It was so difficult to go the toilet, but not anymore! I can go whenever I want, without my wife having to help me.”
Closomat marketing manager Robin Tuffley added: “How does a client balance on the WC if they are missing a limb? How do they clean themselves? Chances are, care intervention will be required.
“The client’s clinical need, and their hygiene, health and wellbeing, is best served by providing adaptive equipment. It answers the Person Environment & Occupation model, enabling the client’s environment, and delivers best value, equating to just 25% or better the cost of providing a carer.”
