A disabled grandmother has criticised a mobility equipment firm who she claims has not yet delivered spare parts for her powerchair seven months after she placed the order.
The customer, Rosemary Norris from Kent, reportedly placed an order for additional footplates and an arm rest which she says were supposed to be delivered in October and November.
Ms Norris, who has been left with limited mobility after a stroke and subsequent heart attack, lives with her son, who is also disabled, and who she says has been waiting for spare parts for his wheelchair since December last year.
Ms Norris says she placed the order with Millbrook Healthcare in February, according to a local newspaper.
She told Kent Online: “When I call Millbrook they check and call back to say they have got the bits and they can deliver them on a certain day and a certain time. When the day comes nobody turns up.”
But Millbrook Healthcare has said it is investigating Ms Norris’s case and will contact her and her son.
It added that it does not comment on individual cases.
