Coronavirus has forced Ableworld to take the “responsible” decision to postpone its Annual Business Conference (ABC).

In an official announcement, Ableworld said it had taken the decision due to the present health situation in the country.

Mike Williams, managing director of Ableworld, commented: “It seemed crazy in the current climate to bring all our Business Partners together for a Conference, when if anyone of us, or the hotel staff have the Coronavirus the whole network would have been on two week isolation, therefore there was only one responsible action to take.”

Adding: “Naturally the Conference should have been about the positive situation Ableworld is in at present along with their growth plans. Plus of course the messages from the speakers that were coming along for the day.

“However, the elephant in the room would always have been the discussion over the present national crisis, so we have postponed the Conference until later in the year.”

He concluded: “We thank all the planned speakers and we hope they understand the reasons for postponement and hope they will be available when a new date is decided.”
