A Manchester-based lift equipment and services provider has won a maintenance contract with Stoke City FC.
Sheridan Lifts announced the new contract agreement last week although it has worked alongside Stoke City (Properties) Ltd since the start of the year.
The company will carry out both planned and reactive maintenance for six passenger lifts and lifts for 17 disabled spectator platforms at the bet365 Stadium, as well as providing match-day breakdown coverage enabling the club to respond immediately to any issues.
As part of the contract Sheridan Lifts will also provide 24-hour-a-day, 365-day a year breakdown and entrapment response.
Richard Smith, managing director of Stoke City Properties Ltd, said: “We have been working with Sheridan Lifts since January and have been impressed by their professionalism and attention to detail which serves to underline their reputation as one of the leaders in their field.”
A statement from Sheridan Lifts said: “It’s been a superb month here at Sheridan Lifts and we are delighted to announce a new lift maintenance contract agreement with Stoke City (Properties) Ltd.
“We really appreciate these kind words from Stoke City and would like to wish them the very best for the remainder of the 2018/19 season.”
