Mobility equipment supplier Complete Care Shop has launched a new ‘Expert Advice Service’ for customers looking for more information on the company’s products.
The free call-back service comes with no obligation to purchase and is staffed by Complete Care Shop’s in-house occupational therapists.
Complete Care Shop said that callers can enquire about needs relating to ageing, disability or illness.
The OT helpline staff will be able to recommend a fit-for-purpose product that can improve a person’s independent living experience.
Rachel Seabrook, clinical services director at Complete Care Shop, said: “As occupational therapists, we often give advice about products and equipment, and can suggest ways of doing daily tasks that people may not have considered.
“By discussing specific needs with customers, for example living with conditions such as arthritis, dementia and incontinence, or struggling with bathing, dressing, toileting, mobility and personal care, we can help them choose the right product to help make their life easier while waiting for a local health authority assessment or referral from the GP.”
The service is accessed by calling the shop’s customer services number or completing an online form at the company’s recently updated website.
