Closomat has confirmed it is extending its remote assessment capability.
The company says it is optimising steps to support adaptation teams and Occupational Therapists as the need for home adaptations remains undiminished.
Designed to complement existing on-site/in-home assessments, which are now up and running again, the service focuses around Closomat’s Product Specialists using video conferencing platforms to help personalise the assessment experience.
Its expansion comes as Closomat re-opens its Manchester factory and extends its staffing levels to handle and process queries, orders and deliveries.
Stephen Edwards, Closomat’s head of marketing, said: “The need to protect the health & lives of people we have contact with as part of our working life- co-workers, specifier and end-users- is paramount.”
Adding: “We trialled remote assessments as soon as Lockdown began. They have been so successful we are now rolling out the offering and increasing the number of Product Specialists available to help all involved in the adaptation assessment process.”
