The European Seating Symposium (ESS) will be returning to Ireland in 2020 and is now receiving submissions from the industry to further knowledge in the field of seating, wheeled mobility and assistive technologies.
Next year’s conference will be themed on maximising participation through advances in technology.
The seventh ESS will take place from the 10 to 12 June in Dublin’s historic Croke Park Stadium.
Organisers are inviting the industry and clinicians to submit a paper, poster, instructional workshop or illustrative case study for peer-review by its international scientific committee. The submission must fit with the conference’s theme.
The scientific committee is inviting delegates to submit abstracts describing illustrative clinical case studies. A limited number of these case studies will be included in the programme.
All accepted abstracts, whether papers, posters, workshops or illustrative case studies, will be published in the book of conference proceedings via the conference app.
The best paper presentation, as voted for by the delegates, will also receive the accolade of the ‘ESS 2020 Best Conference Paper’.
The deadline for submission is Friday 29 November 2019. Authors will be notified of abstract acceptance by Friday 17 January 2020 to enable Early Bird discounted conference registration rates.
