The Countrywide Care Network’s annual event saw both suppliers and dealers brought together in an environment designed to nurture business between both parties.
A record number of industry players attended the charity event, held near Stratford-Upon-Avon, which saw £2,000 raised. Most of the money was donated to a charity for rare genetic diseases in children called the MPS Society.
The MPS society supports children with a range of Lysosomal Storage Diseases which progressively affect children with the condition as they grow. There is no cure for the condition and the MPS Society provides vital support for families affected by the condition.
The event involved activities focused around testing driving skills with a challenging 4×4 course. Participants were divided into teams of eight with the winning team having the honour of nominating the charity of their choice and of course getting to hold the shield until next year’s event. After the day’s events, dealers and suppliers enjoyed a BBQ at Ardencote Hotel overlooking the lake.
“Our annual charity day really has become one of the key events in the mobility industry calendar bringing suppliers and dealers together to network and raise money for good causes. The event provides a unique, relaxed environment to meet new suppliers and deepen existing relationships,” commented Jo Collins, CCN chair.
