Walking aid supplier Flexyfoot has been contacting customers and shipping goods this week as it confirmed to AMP this morning that it has begun trading again.
Flexyfoot products are also coming back online with its internet retail partners. The supplier was liquidated last month after its parent company, Mobility Choices, was forced to close.
Flexyfoot’s assets were sold and a new team brought in to bring the supplier back to the market once new investors had been secured.
Managing director Georgie Powell told AMP that after the company ceased to trade, there were “a large number of interested parties bidding for the Flexyfoot business”.
“The investors that secured the deal approached me to carry on running the business.
“From the customers’ perspective, there will be little difference, but with secure backing we intend to meet and exceed the projected growth targets set for the year.
“We have decided to focus purely on trade sales and helping our trade customers to promote and realise good returns from the products.”
The website is in the process of being updated as the company will only be selling the original Flexyfoot Ferrule for now.
The company currently sells its products through around 70 UK dealers and a handful of European distributors.
