Bolton CCG appoints new clinical director for commissioning


The Clinical Commissioning Group in Bolton has appointed a new clinical director.

Dr Helen Wall has taken on the role after the previous commissioner, Dr Barry Silvert, retired earlier in the year.

A Bolton News report explained how Dr Wall has been working with the CCG for some time as the clinical lead for women’s and children’s services and as a GP board member.

Commenting on the appointment, she said: “I am really pleased to take up this role. I am passionate about ensuring we provide the very best health and care services for the people of Bolton and I am looking forward to working with our partners across the borough.”

Adding: “We are facing times of great change and adversity and my priority is to get us all through this stronger together for the benefit of my fellow Boltonians and our hardworking workforce.”
