Autochair shines a light on its partner referral scheme

Vehicle adaptation specialist, Autochair, will be showcasing the benefits of its partner referral scheme at this year’s Trade Days exhibition.

The event will see the UK manufacturer present details of the commission-based scheme as well as demonstrations of a fully adapted vehicle. Autochair’s rewarding referral process can earn hundreds of pounds for members of its partner scheme as customer enquiries passed on to Autochair resulting in a sale will secure a generous percentage of the order value for partners.

The scheme offers three exclusive products, easy and fast payment of commission, a dedicated account manager and free marketing and point of sale materials.

Tom Smith, partner manager at Autochair, explains: “With more than 30 years’ experience working with retailers we know how often mobility scooter customers enquire about wheelchair hoists as well. Our aim is simple, to make the purchasing process as straight forward and beneficial as possible for all involved. The partner scheme offers an assured quick and simple payment of commission, meaning both seller and customer are left satisfied.”

Enabling those with limited mobility greater freedom through access to their vehicle, the Autochair range includes:

  • The Smart Lifter LP Range, a scooter and powerchair hoist. Its powerful lifting capacity enables drivers to transport some of the biggest and largest scooters on the market.
  • The Smart Lifter LM Range is designed to lift scooters and wheelchairs weighing less than 80kg, and makes light work of loading and unloading mini scooters and wheelchairs.
  • The Smart Transfer is designed to smoothly transfer users from a wheelchair directly into a standard car seat.

Autochair recently celebrated signing up its 500th partner shop following a store request for a scooter hoist.

Mark Grantham, managing director of Somerset and West Country Stairlifts, explains: “A customer, who recently purchased a scooter from us, called to say he was struggling to get it in the back of his car in one piece. Luckily, we knew of Autochair and its vehicle adaptation products after receiving a leaflet just a few days earlier, so could recommend a hoist to help. Shortly after the call, the partnership was sealed and an at-home demonstration booked. He was so impressed he bought the hoist straight away and even offered to give personal demonstrations to other customers thinking about making a similar purchase. We received our commission just a few days later.”

Partners receive a unique 0800 number and access to the Partner Portal,, a dedicated online hub that allows management and tracking of referral activity to ensure all enquiries are handled efficiently.
