The winners of the second annual AMP Awards have been revealed following a ceremony at London’s Law Society.
Top mobility equipment retailers from around the country gathered to celebrate industry excellence in The Dressler Room at 113 Chancery Lane.
The AMP Awards, this year run in association with Mark Bates Ltd, was founded to specifically honour mobility retailers involved in taking care of hundreds of thousands of people across the UK.
Following a networking reception, keynote speakers kicked off proceedings.
Then, after a short break, a panel discussion, led by AMP’s editorial director Andrew Seymour, discussed challenges the retailers are facing and how they are looking to progress in 2020.
Alcoholic beverages were then served ahead of the highly anticipated awards ceremony, in which 10 accolades were presented.
As well as Mark Bates Ltd, the event was supported by TriLift, Handicare, Karma Mobility, Arjo Hoists and Sunrise Medical.
The winner of each category was entirely decided by the industry, including fellow dealers, suppliers and manufacturers in an online vote, making it the ultimate endorsement from the trade.
Many of the categories went down to the wire and in some cases first and second place were separated by a just a couple of percent, underlining just how high the standards have been set.
