Always Sunny actor and new Wrexham FC owner pays for fan’s accessible bathroom renovation

A Wrexham FC fan has received a £6,000 donation from Rob McElhenney, actor and new owner of the Welsh club, in order to pay for his accessible bathroom suite.

Aidan Stott is founder of the Wrexham AFC Disabled Supporters Association and suffers from cerebral palsy.

He set up a GoFundMe page in order to raise the money needed for a specialist bath tub.

However, he found that only a day after setting up the online donations page, McElhenney had donated the entire amount needed for his new adapted bath.

McElhenney is famous for his role in the TV sitcom It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, and is soon set to become the co-owner of Wrexham FC with fellow actor Ryan Reynolds.

Stott posted an update on his GoFundMe page, saying: “Made me so happy seeing the response so far.”
