Administrators called in as doors close at Hearing & Mobility


Administrators have been called in at DHAIS-owned retail firm Hearing Health & Mobility, Grant Thornton has confirmed.

Appointed a week ago, Grant Thornton’s Alistair Wardell and Richard Lewis have been tasked with resolving what will happen with the stores and equipment.

In a notice posted on January 22nd on the firm’s Bournemouth-store, it confirmed that the “branch has ceased trading until further notice.”

The full statement reads: “Please be advised that Alistair Wardell and Richard Lewis of Grant Thornton UK LLP were appointed as joint administrators of Hearing Health & Mobility Limited on 22 January 2020.

“This branch has ceased trading until further notice.”

Concluding: “Queries in respect to the Administration should be directed to the above office, quoting reference D20597045.”
