Ableworld hoist delights club owned by Hollywood A-listers

Ableworld hoist Wrexham

Ableworld is backing Wrexham AFC’s new venture in powerchair football by donating an electric hoist to the organisation.

Powerchair football is a fast-paced and dynamic sport that provides opportunities for those with disability. Due to the unique nature of powerchair football it allows all ages, disabilities and both genders to compete together.

Ableworld specialist Louise Mason dropped off the equipment to the football club, which was delighted to receive the gift.

The club’s disability liaison officer told her: “I am blown away by your generosity. Your gift to us will most definitely change lives and will enable wheelchair bound adults and children the opportunity to be a part of a very exciting hobby.”

Wrexham AFC made the headlines earlier this year when the club was taken over by Hollywood stars Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney.
