Ableworld expands UK network with two new stores

Ableworld is expanding its network with the opening of two new stores next week.

The stores will open on September 10 in Queensferry, North Wales and Blackpool, bringing the Ableworld’s total number of mobility and stairlift shops to 38.

Both new stores will stock the full range of mobility products, as well as a large stairlift demonstration area.

Mike Williams (pictured), managing director at Ableworld, said: “We are very much looking forward to opening the doors and welcoming all existing and new customers into both new stores.

“We pride ourselves on helping to support vulnerable people, never more so than staying open all the way through Covid which meant we were able to get products out to the people who needed them. Opening additional stores enables us to extend our services to more customers and support the local community.”

Queensferry will be the fourth Ableworld store in North Wales and aims to provide a local service for the surrounding area, in addition to the Chester, Wrexham, Llandudno and Rhyl stores.

Blackpool is a joint venture store with business partner Barry Pearson and follows on from his store success stories in Hyde, Salford, Southport, St Helens, Wavertree, and Wigan.
