AAT updates lifting chair for manual handling after a fall

Raizer II

Stairclimber and vacuum posture cushion specialist, AAT, has launched a new piece of equipment to enable care home staff to safely lift a resident after a fall.

The new Raizer II mobile lifting chair is designed to assemble around a fallen person with minimal disturbance, with minimal effort from the operator.

At the push of a button the battery-motorised seat powers the chair and occupant from flat on the floor to a safe seated position.

An end stop ensures the person is not over-elevated and gives the operator the correct position for dis-assembly after use.

The chair flatpacks into a carry bag for storage and transportation where needed and is lightweight, enabling anyone, however petite, to lift up to 150kg off the floor.
