National mobility chain Ableworld has launched its first TV advertising campaign in a deal with Sky which will target consumers in Stockport, Greater Manchester, with the aim of supporting sales at its stores in the area.
The advert features prices from the company’s Winter Sale which is running in its Stockport store until March. In the 30 second advert a rollator, rise and recline chair, scooter and stair lift are all demonstrated by staff.
It said that it hopes its first TV advert “can show more customers that not only do we care about each and every customer, we can also provide free advice and mobility aids at value for money prices”.
Ableworld has rapidly expanded since it was set up in 2001 and it now has 34 stores in the UK. It already has a largescale online advertising campaign but this marks the first time it has aired a campaign on TV.
Michelle Mossford, senior marketing manager at Ableworld, said: “We are really pleased with the advert, which has allowed Ableworld to take our marketing activity to a whole new level. We have been fully supported by a TV production company and Digital Marketing Agency in creating our first advert for Sky TV.”
The company added: “Ableworld are proud to be recognised as an ethical trader, endorsed by Which Trusted Traders, to give our customers the confidence that we are here to help. We provide a wide range of mobility aids with the aim of helping our customers maintain their independence. We do not pressure sell to our customers and are available to offer free advice about all of our mobility aids to ensure you can make an informed decision that is right for you.”
