VACANCY: Clinical Trainer Role in the UK Marketing Team, Sunrise Medical

Sunrise Medical are one of the world’s largest medical device manufacturers with over 1800 associates operating in 127 different countries. The UK commercial team has grown over the last few years due to its success in rolling out new product and investment in the team and training.

This is an opportunity to join the UK Marketing team responsible for launching new products, training, events and exhibitions. The role of the Clinical Trainer is to predominantly deliver trainin, but also to carry out commercial duties that require a clinical expert. This may include everything from representation at conferences to assessment support for our Area Sales Managers and customers.

  • Clinically Led Training – Delivering our range of STEPs & JCM Academy training courses, both at our UK site and across the country, will be the primary function of this role (as well as keeping these updated with clinical practice). This will also include in-service/agent training in support of our Product Specialists.
  • Assessment Support – This may include, but not be limited to, supporting our ASM’s and Product Specialists with complex assessment (whilst upskill training). Also aiding our dealers who may need support or clinical advice.
  • Clinical Conscious – Our Product Specialists are tasked with the ownership of their product lines, the Clinical Trainer is tasked with clinical ownership and ensuring that clinical pathways are updated and maintained whilst inputting clinical features to all products.
  • Team Support – Working in the UK Marketing team is a collaborative effort and the candidate for this role will be required to support the Product Specialists with events, projects and new product introductions.

This is an interesting opportunity for someone who has a passion for training and best practice. The  right candidate will be required to cover the UK & Ireland so it is very important to have the availability to travel and stay away from home.

It is crucial that  applicants for this role have Occupational or Physical Therapy qualifications with active credentials.
