One of the UK’s largest vehicle rental agencies for disabled motorists has reported its most successful quarter in the company’s history.
Adapted Vehicle Hire (AVH), the UK’s largest provider of specialist disabled-friendly rental vehicles, reported a 20% year-on-year increase in sales during Q4 of 2017, the highest figures in the company’s 13 year history.
According to Business Lancaster the bumper trading period is due, in part, to the expanded range of adapted vehicles, with the company offering the largest selection in the UK.
The equipment expansion saw the business introduce the Hyundai i30 automatic models and the new Fiat Ducato seven-seater automatics into its portfolio.
The publication reported that AVH’s managing director, John Ellis, said: “The fast delivery of vehicles tailored to specific individual, family and business needs stems from effective dialogue with customers, ensuring we have complete understanding of their circumstances. This customer-led approach is at the heart of our business and is why we’ve been able to build up a loyal client base and secure returns on repeat bookings.
“An individual telephone consultation with a member of the team prior to vehicle allocation enables us to cater for every type of disability to ensure we provide optimum mobility. It means each customer can be confident their unique needs are met.”
