Topro has secured a number of new stockists of its latest Odysse rollator as a result of the Naidex show.
Sales manager, Paul Briggs (pictured), told Access & Mobility Professional that the new Odysse rollator proved popular with both the public and mobility dealers.
Amongst the new stockists are DSL, Hearing Health & Mobility, Mobility Solutions and Active Mobility.
Topro is looking to deliver more of its rollators to retailers in the coming year and wants to move the market away from traditional rollators towards products that are more bespoke and fit the needs of individual customers.
Briggs described how the Odysse’s ergonomic grips allowing for one-sided braking and its drag brakes made it a winning rollator at the Naidex show.
“The major hitters have come to the show and they’ve all reacted very positively and some have taken the rollator on board. It gives us an ideal opportunity to promote our full range and gives our staff an opportunity to meet the public and trade. It’s been a wonderful show in terms of launching new products,” commented Briggs.
He continued: “The way our business has grown in the last few years, we can see that people are moving away from the traditional cheaper, lower-end rollators and they are now looking at a quality rollator with a seven year warranty.
Additional products to act as add-ons are also popular. For example, we have trays, one sided brakes, drag brakes and bespoke solutions as one size doesn’t fit all.”
