The aim of the company is to introduce interesting products to the UK market, which are related to movement and mobility and are characterised by strong design, smart use of technology and respect for the environment. Its Triride solution is designed as an efficient and convenient solution for turning a manual wheelchair into a motorised one. Triride now comes as a whole set of products conceived, designed and produced in Italy by Gianni Conte, who made the first prototype for his personal use and then decided to start the company Triride Srl.

At Trade Days, Stiltz will be demonstrating how its home lift solutions are discreet, attractive and quiet. Able to install in a day, the simple controls make them intuitive to operate. The new Trio+ is a wheelchair-friendly HomeLift packed with sensors and safety features. The Trio+ is ideal for homeowners with mobility issues who need to move around their home without relying on stairs. It will comfortably accommodate a standard wheelchair, three people or heavy/bulky medical equipment.

Freerider

At this year’s show, Freerider is focusing on the reliability and durability of its scooter range and is highlighting the benefits of the Mayfair scooter for use both in hire fleets and consumer sales. The Mayfair is a popular, practical and affordable mid-sized pavement scooter coming as standard with an adjustable captain’s seat, lights and indicators and with a maximum carrying capacity of 132kg. There are also a number of other models available with upgrades in comfort, speed and options on colours. Freerider is looking for feedback from the marketplace on its Mayfair and is rewarding retailers who share their experiences with a 7.5% discount on the scooter.

Invacare

Invacare will be leading its Trade Days campaign with a host of new products and offers which will include its LiNX technology, phone apps and mobility scooters. The supplier is offering mobility retailers an enhanced customer experience with its LiNX SMART powerchairs. The powerchair features innovative designs combined with intelligent controls, adaptable seating systems and a range of high performance wheelbases suited to any environment. Showcasing on its stand will be the LiNX ‘touchscreen’ remotes together with options from its full range of specialist controls.

Karma Mobility

Karma mobility will be launching four new products, the VIP2 tilt in space, the E-Flexx, and two new manual wheelchairs. The VIP2 is an upgrade of the VIP self-propelled manual chair but now features a tilt in space function, deeper seat and more space to fit third party backs and lateral supports. Additional features include adjustable height, flip back armrests, footrest hangers that swing in and out, ergonomic headrest and lumbar support. The E-Flexx builds on the success of the Flexx lightweight manual wheelchair, providing a lightweight powerchair ideal for travelling. Two further wheelchairs will also be making their UK debut at Trade Days and the Karma Mobility team will be on hand to demonstrate all four products in addition to providing information on the other models from Karma’s portfolio of manual and powered wheelchairs. “We are very excited about launching these four latest additions to our range. Trade Days is a great opportunity for us to engage with retailers from across the UK and we are looking forward to a busy two days,” comments Mark Duffield, general manager.

Gold Star Mobility’s new electronic key fob is designed mainly for convenience as the user no longer has to insert and fiddle around with a key. But because each fob has a unique number assigned to it, it can only be used on one scooter – unlike traditional generic keys which can be used on any scooter – adding security. Owner Neil Medhurst has been developing the device for two years and has now decided to invest money in it and secure a patent.
