Mobility supplier TGA will host its latest Safe Scooter Driving and Charity Awareness Day tomorrow where it will open up its showroom in Sudbury to end-users who will be offered helpful advice and safe scooter use
TGA said it is committed to maximising safety for its customers. It offers a safe driving awareness programme which involves free events and readily available information
The Safe Scooter Driving and Charity Awareness Day will provide the opportunity for existing and prospective mobility scooter users, to learn the latest techniques for competent driving in a safe environment.
All visitors will be able to experience the TGA test track which will compromise of obstacles typically found when travelling on a scooter.
Trained TGA advisors will be on hand to support and offer guidance on manoeuvres such as crossing the road.
Event attendees can bring their own scooter or select one from the latest TGA range. TGA advisors will be ready to listen to individual needs and recommend how quality and reliable TGA scooters can improve independence.
The event will provide free safe driving tips and advice; free health check for all mobility scooters; free safe driving certificate; and free test drives of its scooters.
New for 2018 TGA will be presenting the ‘Carers Hub’. This brings together a diverse range of charities that offer support to people with restricted mobility or those who care for others.
