Stiltz is placing its Trio+ homelift centre stage at the upcoming South East RISE4Disability Show set for 18 September.

Taking place at the Kent Showground in Maidstone the show will cover all ranges of disabilities and abilities and is targeted at a wide selection of professionals and end-users.

The Stiltz Home Lifts team will be promoting its newly-released BS5900 compliant Trio+ on stand G4.

It is designed to be a spacious, luxury wheelchair-accessible lift to accommodate a full-sized wheelchair or comfortably carry up to three passengers.

This new domestic lift will give professionals the chance to independently recommend the product during in-home assessments as an aid for those who need to adapt their homes to help make their lives easier.

These adaptations can be partially or fully funded depending on the individual’s circumstances, by a Local Government Disabled Facilities Grant.

Having undergone extensive development, the Trio+ domestic lift is now fully compliant with BS5900 and BS EN 81-41 accreditation.

The domestic lift now incorporates fire seal protection when the lift is parked at the upper or lower floor, and integrated with an existing smoke alarm.

The new Trio+ is now also available with the added option of an automatic door to allow for ease when entering and exiting the lift in a wheelchair.

The car body has been especially designed for wheelchair users with wider entry and exit points and a gently-angled ramp for easier wheelchair access.

The lift has also been uprated to a higher carrying capacity of 250kg helping widen the spectrum of users.

Designed with a matte, soft grey aluminium frame, the Stiltz Trio+ has a transparent main body and clear sides with the aim of blending seamlessly into the home.

Gino Farruggio, UK trade sales director for Stiltz, said: “The Trio+ has been subject to ongoing development since launching 12 months ago, and is now fully compliant with British Standards which means OTs can independently recommend this product to end-users who have a need for this type of home lift.

“This event is the perfect opportunity for us to meet with lots of professionals as well as those who will be using our Home Lifts, and explain how the Stiltz Trio+ Home Lift is helping to significantly improve people’s lives every day.”

The Trio+ will be not be displayed on the day but Stiltz Homelifts will be exhibiting its contemporary, compact and elegantly-curved two-person Stiltz Duo+ Homelift which is an ideal alternative to a stairlift.

The company, however, will be inviting OTs to come and see the Trio+ for themselves when it showcases the new product at the OT Show at the NEC Birmingham on November 22-23.
