Sidhil acquired by global giant

UK healthcare equipment business Sidhil has been acquired by global medical products company Drive DeVilbiss Healthcare Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of Drive DeVilbiss Healthcare.

Halifax based Sidhil is a worldwide manufacturer of hospital and long-term care beds, pressure prevention products and aids to daily living, and is a leading provider to the homecare, acute care and long term care markets in the UK and throughout Europe.

Now, with this new partnership with Drive, Sidhil will have access to their global distribution network, bringing our product line to new markets the world over.”

New York headquartered Drive DeVilbiss Healthcare manufactures a complete line of medical products, including mobility products, sleep and respiratory products, beds, bariatric products, wheelchairs, sleep surfaces and pressure prevention products, self-assist products, power operated wheelchairs, rehabilitation products, patient room equipment, personal care products and electrotherapy devices.

The company has manufacturing and distribution facilities in 11 countries and distributes products to customers in the United States, Europe, Canada, Mexico, Central and South America, the Middle East and Asia.
