Rise recliner and adjustable bed manufacturer Adjustamatic is set to open its own retail space in Macclesfield tomorrow, where it will sell the products it makes at its factory in Denbigh, North Wales.

More than half of the new 4,000 square foot site will be used as a showroom for its products, which include a range of specialist recliner chairs, mattresses, accessories and adjustable beds for various health conditions.

Adjustamatic has drafted in five new staff to work at its Macclesfield store.

Darren Thomas, head of retail at Adjustamatic, told Insider Media that establishing a retail presence has enabled Adjustamatic to develop a wider market.

He said: “We identified Macclesfield as an ideal location for our latest store in a thriving Cheshire town.

“This fantastic store will meet the needs of those in Macclesfield and Cheshire that want well-designed adjustable furniture to sleep, relax and move in greater comfort to help maintain and improve their health.”

Adjustamatic has an established e-commerce operation but this will be the first time the company has moved into a bricks and mortar retail concept.
