Mobility retailer Recare has teamed up with supplier Ottobock in a collaboration that will see the two companies exhibiting together on a joint stand at the Naidex show.
Taking place on 25th and 26th April at the NEC Birmingham, Naidex is one of the largest events in the independent living sector calendar.
Richard Holland-Oakes, Recare’s managing director, anticipates interaction with both new and current customers.
He said: “The show enables us to offer new and innovative solutions to their everyday needs. With a clinical and technical professional outlook Recare will be able to offer onwards support with our two clinical and mobility showrooms in both Oxfordshire and Northamptonshire enabling us to cover the UK.”
Robert Redgewell from Ottobock UK added: “Naidex is an incredibly important event to us at Ottobock, being the largest exhibition of mobility equipment in the UK. We’re excited to have the chance to interact with the people who use our products, or those who are interested in the products, and introduce some new equipment that people might not have seen before.”
The dealership has a good relationship with Ottobock and the two have already worked together at the World Para Athletics Championships in August and in July Ottobock supplied its first Juvo powerchair to Recare.
Recare has more than 130 years of combined experience across all the key areas of mobility and rehabilitation. The 5000 sq ft showrooms on the edge of the Cotswolds provides the background to Recare’s rehab, service and support teams.
Recare works with all major charities, the NHS, case managers, OTs, physiotherapist, private hospitals, clinics, expert witnesses, solicitors and embassies to name a few.
Ottobock is a major international supplier of mobility and independence solutions.
Alongside a range of prosthetic and orthotic components, the company specialises in wheelchairs, rehabilitation and mobility products. Among the products in Ottobock’s mobility range are the Juvo powerchair and TEN° controller.
