Progeo wheelchairs, an Italian manufacturer of active wheelchairs, is looking to increase its market presence in the UK and Ireland with the launch of three new wheelchairs which it hopes will attract new retailers to its network.
With the introduction of the Duke, the Noir 2.0 and the Joker Junior 2.0, the company is looking to build on its current network and cover more territory in the UK.
“Progeo has been keenly beating the track of quality for over 20 years. Today we are happy to present three new wheelchair models, stemmed from research and the use of advanced materials like carbon-fibre,” said Progeo’s export manager, Marco Nosella.
The Progeo Duke (below) is made up of two frames in carbon-fibre “monocoque” with differentiated section shapes to confer resistance and reactivity. It has the feeling of an extremely light, made-to-measure wheelchair combined with a large range of adjustments.
The Progeo Noir 2.0 claims to be the only made-to-measure carbon fibre wheelchair and is designed with innovative lines and shapes to improve its look and performance.
Each detail is designed to accomplish an eye-catching and linear look as well as ensuring a low weight (6.5kg with rear wheels), maximum resistance and unique manoeuvrability and dynamism.
Meanwhile, the Progeo Joker Junior 2.0 is a new project. It features a rigid frame manufactured to meet a child’s needs, which include lightness, adaptability and personalisation. Each detail is designed to enable the child to express their dynamism.
The company is showing its new wheelchairs and other products from its range at the Rehacare Exhibition (Stand J32/ Hall 5) in Dusseldorf this month. These new models can be ordered from October and the delivery will be in November.
