Equipment including height adjustable kitchens and bathrooms from Pressalit Care have featured in an award-winning holiday home development, Flat Spaces, especially created to offer respite to those with severe disabilities, their families and carers.
The Flat Spaces Foundation has just been awarded a Gold medal in the Access and Inclusivity category of the Beautiful South Tourism Awards, regarded by many as the highlight of the 2017 tourism calendar in the south of England.
Presented by TV and radio celebrity Toby Anstis, the Beautiful South Award was presented to Tom Yendell, chairman and founder of Flat Spaces.
Anstis said that the recognition gives us added impetus to move forward with plans to open additional Flat Spaces around the country to enable those with more complex physical needs, their families and carers, to enjoy holidays.
“Flat Spaces guests benefit from the wonderful facilities and equipment we have chosen for our bungalows, including indispensable rise and fall kitchens and bathrooms from Pressalit Care.”
