Having worked at the likes of Ottobock, Lomax, CF Hewerdine and Permobil, Richard Holland-Oakes is as experienced as they come.
Establishing his own mobility retail outlet in 2008, he has taken Recare from strength to strength. It now continues to shift through the gears and recently moved to a larger premises where it houses a clinic, workshop and showroom.
Richard has continually shown how specialising in niche sectors and prioritising a customer-first approach pays dividends.
In fact, the Oxfordshire-based company grew 42% last year and was already trading up 40% in the first few months of this year.
The company prides itself on offering bespoke products to disabled customers that can afford the best solution for their individual needs and has kept its eye firmly on the ball to ensure it continually meets the expectations of those that rely on its services.
The Recare boss believes he is among around 10 dealers out of 160 in the BHTA and 1,600 in the country which offer the level of specialist mobility he does.
With this focused approach, Recare has already seen substantial success and gained a steady stream of repeat business from happy customers. As we head towards 2018, the business looks to be in rude health.
