As an industry that is constantly learning and evolving as knowledge surrounding disabilities and solutions advances, there is always value in people who can offer advice to professionals.
Peter Lyne founded his own charity and community interest company, MASIS, after being diagnosed with a long-term neurological condition.
Now, through his expertise and insight into the lives of people living with disabilities, he is a leading light for the mobility market, helping dealers and suppliers to understand the needs of the customers they are serving.
As a committed believer in effective networking, he has been invited to serve on numerous central and regional government healthcare and disability sector-related advisory panels.
Peter has been awarded three annual bursaries by NICE and more recently was appointed an individual member of the internationally-renowned Collaborating Centre for Values-based practice in Health and Social Care at St Catherine’s College, Oxford.
Next year, MASIS will exhibit at Naidex for the first time. As an organisation that addresses the needs of disabled people and creates more inclusive lifestyles and societies for them, MASIS, under Peter’s stewardship, is keen to network with other exhibitors and establish professional partnerships with appropriate service providers.
