People First Mobility scoops regional customer care award

Lincolnshire dealer People First Mobility has yet again added to its trophy cabinet after winning a regional customer care award in the Skegness Business Awards.

The business was also a finalist in the Retailer of the Year category for the third year running.

Director Karen Sheppard, who appeared in AMP’s Power List in September, said that she and the team work hard on customer care.

“The entries had increased this year and it was a very strong category. It shows us that we are giving the customer the very best in service as we were nominated by customers. The judges said we go the extra two mile.”

“The gifts we have received as a thank you from our customers this year have ranged from bouquets of flowers to chocolates and wine.”

Earlier this year People First was named one of 100 firms in 2017’s Small Business Saturday campaign.

Small Business Saturday has been running for five years and promotes one business a day on social media leading up to the annual event in December.

The Small Business Saturday initiative was founded in an effort to bring attention to small, independent companies and encourage spending with them in the face of giant firms which cash in on mega-spending on Black Friday and Cyber Monday each December.

Sheppard has also won a string of Twitter awards and has been recognised by retail entrepreneur and former TV Dragon Theo Paphitis.
