Motability’s manufacturer and dealer services director resigns

Tim Newbery Motability Operations

Tim Newbery, manufacturer and dealer services director of Motability Operations, has resigned from the board after 10 years with the mobility standards group.

Mr Newbery was responsible for all manufacturer and dealer engagement together with overall responsibility for Specialised Motability Operations.

“After 10 successful years Tim Newbery resigned from the Motability Operations’ Board on 31 August 2017,” the group told AMP.

“We would like to take this opportunity to put on record our thanks to Tim for his contribution and achievements over the years and wish him every success in the future.”

Before taking on his role, Mr Newbery was head of remarketing at Motability, and before that worked for 11 years at Leaseplan.

He held strong relationships with Motability partners on both sides of the mobility industry, including distributors and suppliers.

  1. Good guy overall. Worked with Tim at Motab for 4 years. Straight down the line manager. Very switched on. Far more intelligient than Mike Betts cronies. Good luck for the future Tim. On another note Mike Betts and crew the beans are gonna be spilled about your dodgy dealings with taxpayers money. Remember Xmas party @Bristol 2004 gonna haunt you
