Mobility furniture funding guide helps draw business

Theraposture, a specialist for tailor-made adjustable beds and care cots for disabled children, has introduced a new bed funding guide to help its customers choose the most suitable equipment

The new scheme was introduced at the Kidz-to-Adultz-South exhibition in Reading where the firm was demonstrating its latest future-proof Mascot cot.

The new guide entitled ‘Funding routes and your rights to the correct solution for your child’ was available from Theraposture for the first time at Kidz and highlighted methods to achieve funding for specialist cots and adjustable beds.

It included information on product provision through social services/NHS, charity grants and loans and private funding along with vital considerations that can assist with selecting appropriate equipment.

It specifically highlighted the equipment loan scheme from Newlife and key features of the Care Act that stipulate the rights of every child in terms of assessment and equipment provision.

“We are delighted to report such high levels of interest in our quality adjustable cots and beds for disabled children. Our Trusted Assessors were busy throughout Kidz-to-Adults-South, explaining to families and healthcare professionals why we are number one for quality bespoke solutions and qualified advice,” commented Liam Braddell, Theraposture’s sales director.

He continued: “We handed out the new Theraposture cot funding guide to many visitors and reiterated our focus on the individual wants and needs of children and families. This is why our #MySafePlace campaign on social media is vitally important as we are encouraging everyone to focus on the preferences of disabled children and not financial and legislative parameters.

“We will continue to support all families affected by disability with accurate information such as how deprivation of liberty should not apply to those under 18 and how every child has human rights to be considered, so informed decisions can be made and appropriate cots and beds are provided.”
