The programme has also been constructed as a training platform for therapists, clinical engineers and technicians, suppliers, managers and professionals in the seating and assistive technology assessment and provision process.
Acclaimed speakers will travel from around the world and are leading professionals in the areas of specialised seating and assistive technology. The conference is fully accredited for CEU, CPD points.
The symposium aims to provide participants with knowledge of the basic and advanced principles of seating and assistive technology.
It will also aim to increase participants’ confidence in their ability to manage the assessment selection and provision process.
Participants will be provided with an understanding of the methods, tools and language used in the process and will be offered an overview of general solutions to advanced assessment and prescription.
Challenges in the field will also be discussed and knowledge shared to promote best practice at all levels of the process.
