Companies and organisations working within the mobility sector should do more to capitalise on the power of Facebook, claims founder of Positive About MS.
Kaz Laljee has been utilising social media platforms since 2010 and setup the MS organisation, Positive About MS; which now boasts a community of 20,000 members.
The social media specialist, who delivered a presentation on Facebook at two-day trade event Naidex, believes that Facebook is a driving force and offers businesses the greatest market tool when utilised correctly.
He explained that over 38 million people living in the UK are currently registered on Facebook, with more also user Facebook-owned platforms, including Instagram, Whatsapp and Facebook Messenger.
He said: “You can target every audience you want and it’s a really special way of doing that, but with social media you have to have planning and research. If you have got a really interesting post about Naidex it should go up during, or just after or just before.
“And what do you post? Make sure it’s entertaining, what is going to entertain your audience?”
The Facebook-advocate added that paid campaigns offer companies remarkable return on investment due to the valuable data at the social media giant’s disposal.
Laljee explained that Positive About MS has successfully been able to engage with half a million people through the use of paid opportunities, ranging from approximately £20 to £95.
