Mobility retailer Lifestyle and Mobility has expanded with a new flagship store in Bournemouth’s Sovereign Centre.
It is the fourth store the dealer has opened since it began trading in 2002 and its network of retail outlets now includes stores at Potters Bar, Basildon, Southend-on-Sea and Bournemouth.
The 1,000sqft shop is designed to be spacious, bright and uncluttered so that consumers are able to browse at leisure and in a relaxed environment.
As a TGA retailer, Lifestyle and Mobility will be stocking a large range of mobility scooters at its new flagship, available for ownership and for leasing on Motability.
“The Mayor commented on how impressed he was with the store as it is so different to an old fashioned dingy mobility store. We have purposely fitted lighting that imitates day light and selected products that are of high quality such as TGA mobility scooters,” said Simon Sverdloff, store manager.
“We stock a vast range from TGA including the eye-catching off-road Vita X which was perfect for the press photo call. The TGA Breeze S4 which appeared on BBC Top Gear is also really popular, especially the new graphite grey model we have displayed on our concessions stand.”
The new store was officially opened by Bournemouth’s Mayor, Councillor Eddie Coope who cut the ribbon and was supported by Mayoress Janet Coope and more than 50 other guests and members of staff. Gill Cousins, deputy manager at the shopping centre attended along with many shoppers and representatives from the scooter manufacturers.
