A digital and electrical building infrastructures firm has hailed its acquisition of its Jontek brand as a success after it has helped it to secure two new monitoring centre contracts with UK councils.
Legrand UK & Ireland recently acquired Jontek which is now supporting East Lothian Council with the provision of digitally enabled monitoring and response centre software. East Lothian is switching to digital technology to cement Scotland’s digital transformation which continues to take place.
Jontek has also been chosen to support Nottingham City Homes, a housing organisation that manages around 27,000 homes on behalf of Nottingham City Council.
Answerlink is Jontek’s fully comprehensive assisted living platform for the management of telecare, lone workers, telehealth and M-care services. The software already claims to be working reliably in the digital world because it has the ability to accept calls from both analogue and digital devices on one platform.
Trevor Hoggard, national sales manager for Jontek, commented: “We are delighted to be working with East Lothian Council and Nottingham City Homes to keep their residents safe and supported. As the provider of one of the only digitally enabled assisted living platforms in the UK, we continuously work with our customers to develop our systems in line with their evolving needs.”
Legrand Assisted Living & Healthcare operates a number of assisted living brands which manufacture technology that is designed to empower people to live independently in their own homes for longer or with an appropriate level of carer support.
