Care home operator brighterkind has installed Impey products as part of an extensive refurbishment of its shower rooms.

Impey’s LevelDec wetroom floor former and Boston Comfort and Safety accessories were chosen for each of the refurbished shower rooms at the Granby Care Home in Harrogate.

Rachel Warrington, brighterkind’s design manager, said: “The Granby has been decorated with both sophisticated style and optimum comfort in mind. I have worked with Impey before and know the LevelDec EasyFit wetroom floor formers to be the best on the market in terms of design and flexibility.

“I am also incredibly pleased with the choice of Boston Comfort and Safety Accessories; which provide excellent functionality without the drawback of an institutional-style design. It’s important that the rooms feel as homely as possible and the Impey products have helped to achieve this.”

The Granby Care Home is a former 18th century hotel providing residential, nursing and respite care with 78 beds.

Steve Butler from Premier Contracting (Southern) Ltd, who was responsible for overseeing the installation of showering facilities, said: “The Impey LevelDec EasyFit floor formers that were specified for this project are incredibly easy to install. Adaptability is key on this kind of scheme and the LevelDec caters for each installation situation with ease.

“Sticking to a strict schedule is incredibly important for ourselves and our clients; and when we’re installing Impey wetroom systems we know we will be able to finish the job on time and in budget.”
