Feerider ‘has ace up its sleeve’ for dealer support

Mobility scooter supplier Freerider has argued that it can offer the kind of support dealers really want for its customers in the South and East.    

Speaking in relation to Suffolk-based dealer, Beactive, Rick Aldridge, regional sales manager for the South and East, said that coming from a dealer background himself, he is knows what retailers want and need.

“I myself come from a mobility dealer background, so have been both side of the desk so to speak. This allows me a better understanding of what dealers really want from a regional manager, as that was also what I wanted in a regional manager when I managed a mobility shop,” Aldridge told AMP.

“As a supplier we differ from others by going the extra mile when it comes to supporting dealers, whether that be with attending and dedicating time and efforts with company open days and Motability events, such as those we do with Beactive, to just being available quickly when a dealer has a question on a product. We understand often that things can be time critical, and being able to offer solutions or answers fast is what dealers need when they call on us.”

Aldridge says Freerider has enjoyed success with Motability awareness days and open days alongside the retailer’s various branches.

Freerider is a manufacturer of mobility scooters ranging in size from small transportable boot scooters to full size road-legal class three scooters.
